Aqua is a playable character in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Not much real information (aside from observation) is known about her at this time.

Summary

In the Birth by Sleep teaser (secret video at the end of Final Mix +), Aqua is portrayed as a blue-haired, blue eyed individual who seems to be friends with Terra and Ven. Her armor, worn in the Birth by Sleep teaser, is seen in a Final Mix + cutscene. In the cutscene, her armor is seen lying in a mess on the floor along with her Keyblade in the Room of Sleep (an Organization XIII location, in Hollow Bastion). It is unknown if she was killed by the Organization, or if her armor was simply taken from her.

Trivia

• Aqua is the first one to have her helmet removed in the Birth by Sleep teaser.
• Aqua means water in latin.
• To date, Aqua is referred to as 'Mysterious Girl' in all japanese magazine scans she has appeared in.
• Aqua is known to use Reflect and Thunder magic in Birth by Sleep.
• She is also rumored to be/be related to the 14th member of the Organization, however this is heavily based on speculation and any relation between the 14th member and Aqua is unconfirmed.
• Similar to Sora's Final Form, Aqua floats slightly off the ground and uses magic to control her Keyblade.
