Radient Garden is a world in the Kingdom Hearts series. During the events of Kingdom Hearts and most of the events in Kingdom Hearts II, This world was called Hollow Bastion. The world is critical to the series storyline, and home to many of the original and Final Fantasy characters.

In Kingdom Hearts, Radient Garden (Refered to throught the game as Hollow Bastion) was the second-to-last available world and most of the story's plot leads up to the events that transpire there. The world is made primarily of the castle and it's immediate surrounding area. The castle had been abandoned and Maleficent had taken control of it,using it as a hideout for herself and the other Disney Villains. Riku arrived there after the destruction of the Destiny Islands by the Heartless and quickly aligned himself with Maleficent, eventually turning on Sora in his search for power. On Sora's arrival, he had a "vision" (actually Kairi's heart showing him a memory), that revealed Kairi's original home was Hollow Bastion. Sora also meets the Beast, who had arrived like Riku in Hollow Bastion when his Home was destroyed by the Heartless, in search of Belle. The Beast is the world's additional team member. It's discovered that Hollow Bastion's Keyhole can only be accessed by the 7 Princesses Of Heart, which opens up "Kingdom Hearts", the door to the World Of Darkness. Once the Keyhole is sealed by Sora, Leon, Aerith and Yuffie arrive and reveal Hollow Bastion was their childhood home. They also reveal that it was the home of Ansem The Wise, which Sora, Donald and Goofy assume to mean Xehanort (who had taken his master's name). With Maleficent defeated, Leon and his friends planned to bring the castle back to it's former glory.

Kingdom Hearts II
In Kingdom Hearts 2, Radiant Garden (called Hollow Bastion in the beginning of the game) acts as a launchpad, like Traverse Town did in Kingdom Hearts. Incidentally, like Traverse Town, a number of major events and cutscenes advances the story a great deal here, and Sora has his fair share of encounters with Organization XIII here as well. Radiant Garden is under renovation to restore it to its appearance prior to Maleficient's takeover - Leon, Cid, Merlin, Yuffie and Aerith are those who spearhead this development, as the "Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee". Radiant Garden has a completely different layout from Hollow Bastion; where Hollow Bastion in KH was a sprawling castle with large rooms, elevators and precarious passages as if it was suspended in the sky, Radiant Garden exemplifies homeliness and commercial activity, feeling much more grounded than Hollow Bastion. There is hardly any resemblance at all between the two locales.
