Ventus (or Ven) is a playable character in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. He, along with Terra and Aqua are on orders to find Master Xehanort and his Apprentice.
Summary
Ven seems to be the youngest of the soldiers that appear in the Birth by Sleep teaser at the end of Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix +. He has brown-blonde hair, and blue eyes.
In the Birth by Sleep teaser, he is shown fighting with his keyblade held backwards (the blade points behind him rather than in front of him). His keyblade also only has one handleguard, unlike the standard two of other keyblades.
Ven is shown to have a very good friendship with Terra and is assumed to also share a friendship with Aqua.
Trivia
- Ven has an uncanny resemblance of Roxas, Sora's Nobody. Every feature -hair, face, height, even clothes (with a few exceptions)- is identical to Roxas's. Nomura states that this resemblance is important, and that Ven has a connection with with Sora/Roxas.
- Ventus, Ven's full name(?) means air in latin.
- The name "Ven" is an alias, according to Nomura, and Ven's true identity is really a mystery.
- Ven has four known fighting styles: Thunder-Bolt, Fire Blazer and Speed Rave and ShootLock.
